Welcome to Seclob Connect! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for using our platform and services. By accessing or using Seclob Connect, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully.
Account Usage
Account Registration
- Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate and complete information during account registration. False or misleading information may result in account suspension or termination.
- Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Any activity conducted under your account is your responsibility. In case of unauthorized access, you must notify Seclob Connect immediately.
- Account Limitations: Each subscription is linked to a single organization. Sharing access outside your organization or with unauthorized personnel is strictly prohibited.
- Multiple Accounts: Creating multiple accounts for circumventing usage limits or subscription fees is not allowed and may lead to termination of all associated accounts.
Data Breaches and Security Incidents
- Notification and Rectification: Seclob Connect employs advanced security measures to safeguard user data. In case of a data breach, users will be notified within 72 hours of discovery, and Seclob Connect will take immediate steps to investigate, contain, and rectify the breach.
- User Responsibility: Users are encouraged to update their passwords and review account activity following a breach. Seclob Connect is not liable for breaches resulting from user negligence, such as weak passwords or sharing login credentials.
Use of the Platform
Permitted Use
- Business Use Only: The platform is intended for business purposes only. Personal, illegal, or unauthorized use is prohibited.
Prohibited Activities
- Illegal Content: Users must not upload copyrighted material without appropriate permissions.
- Fraudulent Activities: Users must not use the platform to conduct fraudulent activities, such as phishing or impersonation.
- Harming the Platform: Users must not engage in activities that disrupt platform services, including excessive API calls, brute force attacks, or introducing malware.
Fair Use Policy
- Reasonable Usage: Excessive usage of resources (e.g., data storage, API calls) beyond what is considered reasonable for your plan may result in additional fees or limitations.
Subscription and Billing
Payment Terms
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Late Payments: Failure to complete payments within the due date will result in service suspension until payment is made.
- Taxes: All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the subscriber and will be added to the invoice where required.
- Renewal Notifications: Users will receive a reminder email or notification seven days prior to their subscription's renewal date. Automatic renewal can be disabled via the account dashboard under "Subscription Settings."
Termination by User
- User-Requested Termination: Users can terminate their subscription at any time. Access to paid features will continue until the end of the billing cycle.
Termination by Seclob Connect
- Violation of Terms: Accounts may be terminated for violating terms of service, engaging in fraudulent activities, or non-payment.
Limitation of Liability
Exclusions of Liability
- Indirect Damages: Seclob Connect is not liable for indirect or incidental damages, such as loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
- Maximum Liability: The total liability of Seclob Connect is limited to the subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Data Management
Data Ownership
- User Content: All data uploaded to Seclob Connect remains the property of the subscriber. Seclob Connect does not claim ownership over user content.
Data Backups
- Responsibility: While Seclob Connect takes regular backups for system integrity, users are responsible for maintaining their own data backups.
Data Retention
- After Termination: Following subscription cancellation, data will be retained for 30 days. After this period, all data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
